Happy Anniversary

We were young and carefree and so much in love
As we pledged our undying love for each other,
With promises to cherish to have and to hold
Forsaking all else we would love one another,


Those were the days of youth and laughter
It was a never ending time it seems,
Just you and I, so young at heart
Filled with so many hopes and dreams,


And though I know that the hands of time
Can never go backwards it's certainly true,
I loved you then and I love you still
And I know you how much you love me too,


So this comes to you my dear sweet darling
Thanking you for the joy you've brought to me,
You truly are a blessing from the Lord above
